OUR UNCHANGING MISSION

In hashing out God's mission for His church we wanted to remain rooted in scripture, yet communicate to the present day. We toyed around with catchy ways of capturing the biblical essentials for any church, and then we thought, “why do we need a cool slogan or carefully reworded tagline?” We came to realize that our core is Christ's Great Commandment and Great Commission. This generation and the ones to follow need lived-out mission statements not crafty words that fall flat.

Allen Bible Church sets its compass by this statement:

The mission of Allen Bible Church is
to live-out Christ's Great Commandment and Great Commission
... loving God supremely
... loving others sacrificially
... and strategically transforming our world with His Truth.

OUR DYNAMIC VISION

While the mission of Allen Bible Church is permanent and enduring, the vision of ABC is a dynamic one. We are committed to deepen ministry roots in Allen and committed to multiply and expand ministry opportunities locally, regionally and globally.

We have an equipping to send mindset, where we’re actually hoping to see some people walk out our doors and not return — on purpose — because they’ve been equipped and we’re sending them to reach others with the gospel and equip them to be sent out as well.

“And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” – 2 Timothy 2:2
