Tim Chastain – Elder

Tim and his wife Kay were married in 1986 and have four children: Ben and Lauren are off at college, and Robbie and Alyson. Tim and Kay are involved in multiple ways here at Allen Bible. They lead the Mustang Creek Life Group, and Tim is the Leader of our Connection Team. Alongside Fred Rodenbach, Tim has led our men’s retreat the past two years. Kay serves on our ABC Women’s Lead Team and the Connection (café) team. In addition to his ministry here, Tim serves on full-time staff with The Master’s Men, a ministry focused on reaching and equipping men.

Buddy Liles — Elder

Buddy and his wife Day were married in 1999 and have four boys: Nathan, Noah, Caleb and John Parker. They serve as the leaders of the Bethany Ridge LG, and Buddy serves as Lead Pastor, and Day serves with the abcKIDS Nursery and worship teams (see below).

Brian Mosley – Elder

Brian and his wife Julie were married in 2000 and have one daughter, Abby, and one son, Grant. In the 9 to 5 world Brian is the Director of the Rightnow Campaign. Brian has traveled to Argentina, Tanzania, Kenya, Australia, Thailand, India, Indonesia, France and Kyrgyzstan producing mission documentaries that have been shown in thousands of churches across America. Over the last several years, Brian’s team at RightNow has connected thousands of twenty and thirtysomethings to opportunities to use their passions and skills in God’s service across the street and around the globe through their LeadNow and Fusion Events. For Allen Bible Church Brian leads our Discovery Team, the mission team and helps out with communication areas like the web site, email newsletters and other print projects. Julie serves on our abcKIDS Nursery team, and Brian and Julie are co-leaders of the Bethany Ridge Life Group.

Fred Rodenbach – Elder

Fred and his wife Michelle were married in 1990 and have three children: Ben, Emily and Sarah. Their very first Sunday at Allen Bible was our official launch date in August 04. Since arriving they have been heavily involved in service through Allen Bible and Allen YoungLife. They are the leaders of Twin Creeks Life Group and serve on the MOBAT, worship and Connection (café) teams. Fred has worked the past 18 years with Unum.

Brad Van Eerden - Elder

Brad and his wife Donna were married in 1998 and have three children: Alisa, Jonathan and Hannah. Brad is an engineer with Mustang Technology. The Van Eerdens as a family both serve diligently within our body, but they also embody our vision for reaching out to our neighbors—hosting or coordinating several neighborhood events each year as well as intentional informal times with their neighbors. Before becoming an elder, Brad served on our finance team and has taught Equipping Classes at ABC. Brad and Donna currently belong to the Cottonwood Bend Life Group.

On September 14th, 2008, Allen Bible Church ordained its first elders thereby completing the transition from Trustee to Elder leadership. Listen to the complete sermon of the Installation Service below:

Buddy Liles - Lead Pastor

Buddy moved from Memphis, TN to Dallas in 1994 to get his Masters in Theology from Dallas Seminary, which he completed in 1999. The best part of Buddy’s experience at seminary was meeting his wife Day. Also in the fall of ’94 Buddy joined the staff of Dallas Bible Church. Over his nine year history at Dallas Bible Church, Buddy served in the student ministry, singles ministry and eventually became Young Adults Pastor in addition to being a part of the preaching team. While at DBC, Buddy founded and led an equipping ministry called DEM (develop, equip and multiply).

Buddy and Day were married in June of '99, and they have four sons, Nathan, Noah, Caleb and John Parker. Following God’s leadership, the Liles moved to Allen in August of 2003 to lead the team that started Allen Bible. They love their neighborhood, and Buddy enjoys coaching his boys’ teams in all sports.

Gordon McDaniel - Student Pastor

Gordon’s primary role is leading the Allen Bible Church Student Ministry (abcSM). He also is the Chief of Sunday Morning Ministry Teams, serves on the preaching team and provides leadership in the area of equipping. Gordon and his wife Beverly lead the Cottonwood Bend Life Group. Gordon’s previous ministry was as Pastor to Youth and Young Adults at Barcroft Bible Church in Virginia. At Barcroft he developed a curriculum to help shepherd the spiritual growth of jr. high and sr. high students. Prior to that, he served in ministry at Dallas Bible Church from '95 to '02, while getting his masters at Dallas Theological Seminary.

Gordon and Beverly moved back to the Metroplex in June of 2004. Gordon and Bev were married in 2000, have one son Nick and a daughter, Hope. They also have two fantastic dogs...Roxy and Bella.
